Extractions and Oral Surgery
Dr. Ferrick may recommend extraction for an irreparably damaged tooth or to prepare your mouth for restorative therapies. Oral surgery is sometimes needed to alleviate teeth crowding, remove impacted wisdom teeth, or treat severe cases of gum disease. To eliminate anxiety prior to your extraction or oral surgery, we offer oral conscious sedation. For some procedures, we can administer Oraqix topical anesthesia to promote a comfortable experience. If you do require an injection prior to treatment, Dr. Ferrick’s technique is so gentle that most patients don’t feel a thing!
