A crown looks and functions like a natural tooth and requires the same care. Dr. Ferrick considers tooth location and stressors when determining the best material for your crown.

To design and place your crown, we’ll examine your mouth, take a dental impression, and fit you with temporaries. Then, a skilled ceramist at our trusted dental lab will hand-make your custom dental work in a shade matching your existing smile. When your crown is completed, we’ll remove the temporaries and bond your permanent restoration in place, revitalizing your smile.

If your tooth’s damage doesn’t require a full crown but needs more restoration than a filling can provide, Dr. Ferrick may suggest an inlay or onlay. Like crowns, inlays and onlays are custom restorations designed specifically for you.
