Educational Tools

Intraoral Cameras and Chairside Monitors – During your exam, we’ll take pictures of your mouth with an intraoral camera and display the images on a chairside monitor. Viewing the condition of your existing dental work and your teeth, gums, and oral cavity will help you make a good decision about which treatment options to pursue.
Wax Ups – To help you envision your new smile, we’ll take a dental impression and modify it to show the proposed results of suggested therapies.
CAESY Patient Education System – By viewing short videos on our chairside monitors, you can learn about the therapies we suggest and decide which ones are best for you.
Smile Channel – Our reception area television features educational programming to inform you about oral health issues.

Diagnostic and Treatment Tools

Digital X-rays – This safe, effective technology provides a complete picture of your oral health and emits 80-percent less radiation than traditional X-rays. The images from digital radiography are available immediately and can be easily and instantly transmitted to chairside monitors, insurance companies, and specialists.
ViziLite – This leading-edge tool helps us identify cancerous lesions by locating early-stage tissue abnormalities that warrant additional investigation.
Air Abrasion – Instead of a dental drill, we can sometimes use a gentle, comfortable stream of air and tiny abrasive particles to remove decay and prepare your tooth for a filling. Most patients don’t even require anesthesia.

Laser Dentistry

DIAGNOdent – This non-invasive laser pinpoints early-stage tooth decay, letting us preserve more of your tooth when performing a restoration such as a filling.
Soft-Tissue Laser – For your comfort, we’ve replaced scalpels with lasers for many of our procedures. With laser surgery, bleeding is minimal, stitches aren’t required, and recovery is quicker than with more invasive methods.

Anesthesia and Patient Comforts

Oral Conscious Sedation – To alleviate dental anxiety, we can give you a sedative prior to your appointment to promote a calming, positive experience. In just a few hours, we can reverse years of dental damage and neglect, restoring your strong, healthy smile.
Oraqix – To treat severe cases of gum disease, we uses Oraqix to numb your gums. This comfortable, injection-free anesthesia is fast, effective, and safe, allowing you to get the treatment you need without needles.
